Amanda Walker, DVM
Dr. Amanda Walker, a Ross University Veterinary School graduate, recently concluded her clinical year at Oregon State University in January 2024. Her passion for diverse species and breeds of all shapes and sizes shines through in her commitment to enhancing the lives of pets and their devoted families within the community.
Dr. Walker and the exceptional team at Waterway Animal Hospital have an unwavering sense of community, adept communication, and exceptional problem-solving skills. Dr. Walker’s professional interests include dentistry, ultrasonography, dermatology, cardiology, and physical therapy.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Walker is a devoted pet parent to Gizmo, a remarkable 13-year-old Domestic Floof-haired cat exhibiting impressive resilience as a Stage II CKD cat. Gizmo enjoys basking in the sunlight and walking away when she hears “Here, kitty, kitty!” Dr. Walker also shares her home with her running companion, Squash Dog, a “Coconut Retriever” hailing from the island of St. Kitts. In her spare time, Dr. Walker enjoys running, fishing, yoga, trying new foods, and traveling.
